This past weekend was Homecoming Weekend at LIU Post which means that next weekend marks the 36th anniversary of "Rock N Soul Gospel" as a radio program at the campus radio station. 88.1fm & WCWP.org is the public radio service of Long Island University. For these past years it has been my privilege to share, with whoever cares to listen, some of the greatest music that I have ever heard. The friendships that I have made over these years I will always hold close to my heart, to Bill Mozer who initially brought me on and to Dan Cox who keeps putting up with me, you guys are the best. The artists that I get to hang out with and call friends are some of the best folks that I know. Fred Schendel and Steve Babb from Glass Hammer & Dave Bainbridge from Celestial Fire, you guys continually inspire me to do great radio. Derri, Mike, Steve, Terry you guys are the best, Jeff Johnson is a musical genius of the first order, your music has changed my life forever for the better. Going into New York City to see live music is one of the highlights of my life, places like the Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End & The Mercury Lounge are havens in the storm.
